Ian leads UK Power Networks Services. For more than 20 years, Ian has worked with leading utilities, governments and regulators in global energy markets. His expertise is in transforming utilities to adapt to and commercialise evolving energy systems, new technologies and smarter networks. Ian has a track record of delivering improved financial performance and growth through developing and executing business strategies, exploiting new technologies and leading power market development.

He has experience using advanced analytics to improve utility operations. Prior to joining UK Power Networks Services, Ian was Managing Director for European and the Middle East for Navigant Consulting and was a Partner with LCP, a leading business analytics and actuarial firm. Ian has a BA(Hons) and an MSc in philosophy, psychology, statistics and artificial intelligence.

Lucy leads the Safety, Health and Environment team and has been instrumental in achieving a culture of zero harm across our business. She has achieved this by giving all employees the behavioural tools to make the right decision and avoid harm to themselves, colleagues and members of the public.

She was a key player in the development and implementation the successful Stay Safe culture change programme, which has resulted in maintaining an injury free workplace for more than four years. Lucy has worked for UK Power Networks and its predecessor companies, Seeboard and EDF Energy, for 18 years in various safety roles including responsibility for the health and safety of more than 2,500 employees.

David is a chartered electrical engineer (FIET) with over thirty-five years’ experience working in the rail and power industry. His previous roles included Operations and Maintenance Manager for EDF Energy and Managing Director of UK Power Networks Services Powerlink.

In addition to leading our Asset Management, Consulting, and Design and Commissioning teams, David is responsible for the delivery of major projects for key clients including works at Hinkley Point C, Great Western train line (GWEP) and London Underground. David looks to ensure supply resilience for key clients by overseeing our operations and maintenance and asset replacement at Heathrow, High Speed 1, Gatwick and Luton airports.

We work with clients to ensure that operational excellence and sustainability are at the heart of some of the UK’s major infrastructure assets in rail and aviation.

Jason leads and supports the delivery of projects and maintenance for key clients including Canary Wharf, DLR, Stansted Airport, City Airport, Aspire Defence and Network Rail.

He has worked in the electricity industry for over 30 years, the most recent position being Head of Technical Training and Assurance in the Safety, Strategy and Support Services directorate of UK Power Networks, where he was in post for eight years. Prior to this, Jason held a number of management positions including Head of Zero Harm, Cluster Manager for various areas. Jason has a BA (Hons) in Business Management.

Lee leads our growth agenda in the north of the UK. Working in collaboration with the wider team to build our presence and capability in the region, securing new business and building enduring client relationships. Lee’s career, which started with Yorkshire Electricity in 1994, has seen him work in various strategic, operational and customer facing roles.

Most recently, he was Energy Solutions Director for Electricity North West, responsible for the new connections business and the private networks construction and maintenance business. Before that, he was Director of Connections Delivery for Northern Powergrid having also worked as General Manager for their contracting business, Integrated Utility Services.

Most recently, Phil was Sales Director for Siemens Rail Systems in the UK, responsible for the sale of new rolling stock, along with maintenance and upgrade packages. Prior to that he was a Bid Director in Arriva’s Rail Franchising team. During his career he has held senior roles in business development, project management, procurement and various operational roles. Philip has a BSc (Hons) and an MA in Marketing.

Ensuring energy resilience and reliability for the defence sector means that our military can continue to focus on their job of defending our borders and keeping us safe.

Jon is the Head of Markets for defence the public sector. He is also Managing Director of the Multi Utility Joint Venture (MUJV Ltd) between UK Power Networks Services and Veolia. MUJV deliver infrastructure services across electricity, water and gas as part of a 35 year operation and maintenance contract, including a £46m capital programme to rebase the British Army from international theatres to the UK.

Most recently, Jon was Head of Investment Delivery for Major Capital projects in the Capital Programme directorate of UK Power Networks. Previously, Jon worked at Anglian Water where he was integral to the creation of a capital delivery Alliance. Jon also has experience in the Oil and Gas industry where he worked for Bechtel on the engineering and construction of large Oil and Gas projects. Jon holds a BSc(Hons) in Chemical Engineering and a MSc is Project Management.
