Continuing to support the Port of Sheerness on their Net Zero journey

Medway Port

Our latest contract win in the ports industry sees us working with the Port of Sheerness to increase resilience and further review their electricity network.

Originally appointed in February 2022, we have worked collaboratively to assist in delivering Peel Ports Group's objective of becoming a Net Zero port operator by 2040.

Our work so far has included an analysis of power activities as well as system modelling the current infrastructure to provide a preliminary understanding of the current and future condition of the network.

To build on the existing works carried out, we have further employed UK Power Networks Services to utilise their level of expertise and guidance which has been second to none. This knowledge will continue to propel us along the journey to fully map our High Voltage network as well as highlight the associated protective settings needed in a growing network.
