Hitting for Six: New partnership boosts Army cricket

UK Power Networks Services backs British Army Women’s Cricket in landmark sponsorship. In a powerful show of support for military sport and gender equality, UK Power Networks Services has announced a three-year sponsorship of the British Army’s Women’s Cricket team.
The partnership, launched in alignment with International Women in Engineering Day 2025, marks a significant investment in the future of women’s sport within the Armed Forces.
As a key infrastructure provider across military sites in Hampshire and Wiltshire, UK Power Networks Services is a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant. This new collaboration with Army Sport – the governing body for all British Army sporting activity – reinforces the company’s long-standing commitment to supporting service personnel both on and off the field.
Competitive sport plays a vital role in military life, enhancing physical fitness, mental resilience, leadership and teamwork. It also fosters cohesion, adaptability under pressure, and the confidence to overcome challenges – qualities that are essential both in sport and in service.
