UK Power Networks Services awarded a place on national EV infrastructure framework

Electric Vehicle Charging Car Park (1)

UK Power Networks Services has been successfully awarded a place on the Commercial Services Group (CSG) Electric Vehicle Infrastructure and Associated Solutions Framework Agreement (Y23049), strengthening our position as a trusted delivery partner for the UK’s accelerating electric vehicle (EV) transition.

The national framework is available to all public sector organisations with the agreement of the Contracting Authority, providing a streamlined route to market for EV infrastructure and associated services. Eligible organisations include local authorities, police and fire services, the NHS and NHS trusts, housing associations, academic institutions, publicly funded bodies and publicly owned companies across the UK, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Importantly, UK Power Networks Services has been appointed to all four Lots on the framework – reflecting the breadth of our end‑to‑end EV capability, from early feasibility and consultancy through to installation, operation and long‑term support.

A comprehensive, end‑to‑end EV offer

The framework has been designed to support customers at every stage of their EV journey, whether they are deploying new infrastructure, upgrading existing assets or planning for future demand.

Lot 1 – Electric Vehicle Charge Points

This Lot enables customers to procure a fully integrated, turnkey solution for EV charging infrastructure. It covers the supply, installation and deployment of charge points in line with customer specifications.

This Lot is particularly suited to organisations seeking a single delivery partner to manage projects from concept through to live operation.

Lot 2 – Back Office Solutions, Service and Maintenance

Designed for customers who already have EV charge point hardware in place, this Lot supports those looking to change or upgrade their back-office and support arrangements.

This provides customers with flexibility to enhance performance, reliability and user experience without replacing existing infrastructure.

Lot 3 – Consultancy Services

Lot 3 supports organisations at the planning and decision‑making stage of EV deployment. It offers expert guidance on new EV charging opportunities, helping customers develop robust, fundable strategies through.

This consultancy‑led approach ensures investment decisions are evidence‑based and aligned with long‑term operational and sustainability goals.

Lot 4 – Heavy Goods Vehicle and Bus Charging

Recognising the growing need for depot‑based and high‑capacity charging, this Lot focuses on the more complex requirements of HGV and bus electrification.

This Lot is critical for public transport operators and fleet owners transitioning to zero‑emission vehicles at scale.

Supporting the UK’s net zero ambitions

Our appointment to this framework builds on UK Power Networks Services’ extensive experience in delivering EV infrastructure, private networks and energy solutions for critical public infrastructure. By securing all four Lots, we can support customers with a single, integrated offer, reducing complexity and accelerating delivery.
