UK Power Networks Services awarded place on the ESPO VCI3 Framework
UK Power Networks Services is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a place on the ESPO Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (VCI3) framework, reinforcing our position as a trusted delivery partner for public sector EV infrastructure.
We have been appointed across two Lots:
- Lot 1: Purchase of Electric Vehicle charge points (EVCP)
- Lot 3: Service and Maintenance
This achievement recognises our proven expertise in delivering high-quality EV charging solutions for public sector clients and marks our second consecutive success on the ESPO VCI framework, following our appointment to VCI2 (2021–2025).
ESPO is one of the UK’s largest public sector-owned professional buying organisations, supporting schools and councils across England, Wales and Scotland. Our inclusion on the framework reflects our ability to meet ESPO’s rigorous pre-qualification standards, including financial resilience, a strong delivery track record in the energy and utilities sector, and a deep understanding of customer requirements. It also demonstrates our robust approach to health and safety, sustainability and social value.
Lot 1 enables public sector clients to procure a full range of EV solutions, from individual chargers to complete end-to-end, turnkey installations. This includes site surveys and feasibility studies, installation, back-office systems and ongoing maintenance, across a range of power outputs and configurations.
Lot 3 provides service and maintenance support for existing charge points that are out of warranty or maintenance cover, helping clients maintain safe, reliable and high-performing charging infrastructure.
The ESPO framework offers a streamlined, compliant route to market, with procurement formalities already completed. Clients can engage directly with us without the need for lengthy tender processes, using direct call-offs, further competition where appropriate, or e-auctions to meet specific project needs.
The framework runs until December 2027 and positions us to continue working closely with clients and delivery partners, supporting joint procurement opportunities, improving operational efficiency and delivering meaningful social value. This aligns with our commitment to supporting communities and enabling a more sustainable future.
We look forward to supporting clients through the ESPO VCI3 framework and continuing to play a key role in strengthening the UK’s electrical infrastructure.
